Cypher Augmented Reality Apps for Children

A couple of weeks ago we ventured out in search of the
Cypher Kids Club i3D Interactive Cards. We were made aware of them through Social Fabric on a Shoppertunity. With a family
of four girls, any time I get to head out on my own with my favourite Earl Grey tea latte in hand makes for a happy shopping
experience. We had heard that they were available through the local Walmart store. As luck would have it, our Walmart is
about 5 miles away. I took a guess and picked the most logical place in the store to begin my search. They were very easy
to track down in the Apple section of the Electronics Department. I was greeted by a very nice young man who knew all about
the product, which always makes it that much easier to understand and make an educated decision. He spoke very positively
about the cards and said that they have sold a lot of them recently. I made the decision to purchase all of them. I knew
for sure that my little ones would really enjoy the interactive aspect.
With 4 children at home, 2 of which are 8 and under, we thought the Interactive Cards would be a
fun thing to do, both on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. You simply download the app onto your Apple device and launch the
app. I watched my kids take over as if they had been playing with these cards for years. It is completely interactive in
every way. My youngest is somewhat computer savvy, and she took to them in minutes. The giggling and roaring laughter that
ensued made it all worth while.
The Cypher
Kids Club i3D Interactive Cards are available in 3 different subjects; A to Z in amazing 3D, counting with 1, 2, 3D, and
our family favourite, 3D Learning Safari. They really are a cool learning tool for your young ones. The camera on your device
reads the card and displays all the pertinent and fun information including silly sounds, fun facts, and cool characters of
the animal kingdom. The only downside is that now I can't ever use the iPad. My 7 year old has taken to walking up and telling
me cool things about penguins, monkeys and a wide array of wildlife from all over the world.
I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to educate the little ones
on the wonders of the world, the abc's and the 123's.
